More about how donations may be allocated:

EWB is a coaching practice founded on models of trauma care with demonstrated effectiveness for the communities served. For a listing of the EWB Coach Practitioner training and credentials, please visit this link: https://www.recoveringfromwithin.com/credentials1

EWB Coaching does not provide diagnosis, medication or western/allopathic medical claims; it is not western medical therapy. That said, it is centered in a de-colonized and evolving practice of facilitating compassionate being with oneself and that which arises. Through this coaching practice, EWB seeks to facilitate re-connection of parts of an individual to the healing, witnessing energy within, and then to others, restoring holistic balance.

EWB does not espouse a cis-gendered heteronormative approach to care. Rather all genders, no genders, all compassionate ways of caring, companioning and orienting are not only welcomed, but invited and valued.

EWB serves an engaged, diverse community, as well EWB offers ongoing specialized care for the following needs:

  • Adults Healing from Childhood Sexual Abuse

  • Adults Healing from Intergenerational/Historic Trauma

  • Adults Healing and/or Recovering from Addictions, including food, alcohol and process addictions

  • Adults seeking additional Professional Support as they work the 12 Steps

  • Adults seeking support with Anxiety and Depression

  • Adults seeking support with integration of Social Justice Informed NVC, Parts Dialogue, Meditation, Energy Work and Mediation Principles in Action (not bypass) into their daily lives

  • Creatives seeking support to heal and recover from trauma-informed creative blocks

  • Parents, Community Support Professionals and Caregivers

  • Case Consultation for Health Professionals

  • Mentorship for Community Health Professionals and Healers

Programs to increase the accessibility of my practice

Recognizing that many individuals with needs, intention and dedication to heal, often struggle to find the financial resources to afford these vital services, EWB offers donors a way to offer funding in a way that directly affords care to beloved community members in need. All money donated to these funds is used to directly cover or offset the costs of community members seeking ongoing EWB Coaching Care through these EWB Programs. Donors have the option of donating directly to one program or making a contribution that is distributed to cover all of the listed accessibility programs per EWB Coaching’s founders discretion. Donations essentially sponsor an individual or many individuals to receive the specialized care that EWB Coaching offers in a way that is sustainable. For more information about the different programs EWB currently offers, please feel welcome to read below or email me directly with questions or interest in donating. If you know of others who would be interested to support this work directly, please feel invited to share this link with them. EWB Coaching thanks you for your support.

Please note: if you are seeking a tax write off for your donation, please email me ahead of time for information on how to offer that. If you do not require a tax write off for your donation, please feel welcome to donate by emailing a service charge free donation via Google Pay with the name of the Fund (the abbreviated fund name is in parenthesis below, for your convenience) you are supporting in the memo/notes section of your donation. Otherwise, please feel welcome to send a donation via PayPal by selecting the button below. PayPal generally charges EWB a 3%+ service charge for each donation. Your financial contributions are welcomed and appreciated.

Please keep in mind, PayPal will charge a service fee for the donation, so please consider sending donations via Zelle (see above) if in the U.S. Once again, thank you for your support and care! Please email me if you have any questions.

*Unfortunately EWB is NOT a 501c3, it is a sole provider consultation practice. If you are seeking a tax write off for your donation, please consult with your accountant and feel free to talk with me about what possibilities we can arrange.

Diversity in Intergenerational Trauma Healing (IG Healing Fund)

From its inception, EWB has been dedicated to serving community members who have been historically marginalized. Recognizing the unique compounded constraints, including the repetitive challenges and harms of being neglected or harmed by various systemically reinforced institutions, facing these beloved community members, along with many of the other daily stressors everyone faces. EWB Coaching offers IFS and Social Justice Informed NVC Coaching.

Adults Healing from Childhood Sexual Abuse (ACSAS Healing Fund)

EWB was founded to serve adults recovering from the effects of childhood sexual abuse, as so many folks who have survived that experience continue to live lives impacted by that original experience and the compounding effects of that trauma, often without visibility for their needs or care that truly meets them where they are at. IFS was founded by Dick Schwartz primarily through his work with these Survivors. That is the primary method of care offered via EWB Coaching. NVC was quickly added as a way to gently reparent the wounded inner child and offer new tools for clients to communicate about their needs with others.

Currently EWB serves a variety of clients with varied needs, and a large portion of services are dedicated to continuing work with adult survivors.

Consultation support for folks who are at Higher Health Risk (Health Complement Fund)

EWB provides consultation support to members of our community who struggle with these ongoing needs, for example being chronically or immunocompromised, or having bodies and minds with needs and strengths that are often unacknowledged and met with understanding and access, and may not have access to funding to access supportive coaching while covering their necessary ongoing medical and basic cost of living needs.

Service Providers who offer ongoing Discounted Services to Community Members Healing from Historic and Systemic Impacts (Community Providers Fund)

Some community members who do not qualify under the above funds, still strive daily to offer services to other community members in deep need, often at the expense of their own sustainability. Our communities thrive on the professional services that these providers offer to others.
